Witnesses don't see reality and fantasy as opposites. Their rich imaginations make the bringing into being of truth for all people not only possible but plausible.
“
When we are securely rooted in personal intimacy with the source of life, it will be possible to remain flexible without being relativistic, convinced without being rigid, willing to confront without being offensive, gentle and forgiving without being soft, and true witnesses without being manipulative.— Henri J.M. Nouwen
Witnesses don't want to think only like a scientist, they love using symbols in speech and play. For them reality is not well-differentiated from fantasy. They have rich imaginations and it is important for others to share positive, uplifting ideas of faith. Ideas and feelings of gratitude, love, grace and joy inhabit their hearts even in difficult times. They have direct access to their inner child.
For them true revelation discloses a single, universal truth. They are not bound to one tradition. They are sceptical of their inner dialogues seeking truths. Even if the truths are formulated in paradoxical language. Simple truths not clever paradoxes describe the essence of life.
Faith is based on what Witnesses feel rather than on what they think or "know." Witnesses realise that the truths embedded in faith are ultimately more important and helpful than those which emerge from rational or scientific inquiry. They are not anti-intellectual, but post-intellectual. They are affected by life. This unveils the truth.
Nurture and explore your faith. Make sense of how you believe, who you are and why you do things the way you do.
