Seekers unlock God’s future through experiences, stories, rituals, images, fantasy and reality that often get mixed together.

Somewhere we know that without silence words lose their meaning, that without listening, speaking no longer heals, that without distance closeness cannot cure.— Henri J.M. Nouwen
God’s future is mainly unlocked through experiences, stories, images, and the people that one comes in contact with. They experience God in, through, around, among, under and above experience they have. There is no part of life, light and dark, where God’s presence is not extremely real. God is ‘talking’ in God's presence and absence alike.
For Seekers fantasy and reality often get mixed together. Their most basic ideas about God are usually gathered from their environment. It is by listing, seeing, tasting, feeling, touching, moving that truth is known. Beauty is often an avenue to faith. They can feel lightheaded in the presence of beautiful religious spaces. The revelation is just there - it does not need to be explained.
They are powerfully and permanently influenced by examples, moods, actions and stories of the visible practices of sensemaking by people around them. They join communities of discernment to see the light, find direction and feel comfort. They are actually very vulnerable going through life extremely unguarded. They live defenseless though strong, exposed though powerful, unshielded though protected.
Seekers see all of humanity as one sister-hood and brotherhood and take profound, self-sacrificing action to care for all humanity because of this view. Seekers take intergenerational responsibility. This burden makes them easy targets.
Seekers find themselves reconnecting with old faith communities. They feel as if they are moving into a post-critical phase of their faith. Their lives are directed at simplicity and humanity.
Nurture and explore your faith. Make sense of how you believe, who you are and why you do things the way you do.
